Vodoun School of Economics (VoSE 2025) : A joint UAC-UNamur Research Training Initiative
The Vodoun School of Economics is the result of a scientific collaboration between the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin) and the University of Namur (Belgium) with the signing of the Collaboration Agreement between the Doctoral School of Economic Sciences and Management of UAC and the Department of Economics of UNamur.
The third edition of the joint workshop was held in Ouidah, Benin, on January 15-16, 2025 and we are proud to announce that three alumni of the African School of Economics also took part.
This impactful event gathered renowned scholars and researchers to delve into pressing economic issues, including structural changes, sustainable development, and regional integration. Through insightful discussions and presentations, they explored strategies to address poverty, inequalities, and the effects of climate change on economies.
The workshop underscored the importance of international collaboration in driving innovative solutions for global challenges. We are grateful to all participants and partners for their active engagement and look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration.
